Colloquium CUSO 2024 | Speaker

On February 8th and 9th, 2024, I had the privilege of presenting at the Conference of Western Switzerland Universities (CUSO) colloquium. My presentation centered on reinterpreting machinic alienation in the age of artificial intelligence. The goal was to explore two concepts that could shed light on the potentially alienating nature of our relationship with AI. These concepts were the “apparatus,” as examined by Italian philosopher Giorgio Agamben in his article “Theory of Apparatus,” and the “transindividual” of French philosopher Gilbert Simondon, who worked in the 1950s.
